We honor all the believers and forerunners of faith in our nation, past and present, like Uncle Angus Buchan, who is blazing a trail of revival in our nation, turning our people back to God. However, a clear need has occurred for sustaining this revival fire in the hearts of God’s people. Many of these men and women are returning from these big conferences full of faith and zeal, just to be disheartened and disappointed soon thereafter, because of a lack of support and equipping in their new found faith in the Lord.

Many of them find themselves in an environment or community that lacks the same faith and fire they have experienced at the conferences and it does not take long before such ones, sadly start to fall back into their old ways or spiritual coldness and apathy. A Clear movement is visible of smaller group gatherings of men and women, both within churches and outside church boundaries, occurring all over our nation. It seems as if many men and women find the support and love that they are searching for in these group gatherings. These groups do not replace the current home cells of churches. They might rather fulfill a different need at this time in our nation of (1) unsaved people who are not interested in attending a church service (2) backslidden believers (3) disullionsened believers who are currently not attending a specific church, but who are searching for a local church to join. We want to make it very clear that SA4JESUS is NOT against pastors, dominees or churches. In fact, we want to serve and assist church leaders where we can with the harvest, because the laborers are few.

These support groups can serve and help these people to be restored and empowered in their faith and return as a contributor and living stone in a local church. Such a small group should not be a “new church”, but rather just BE church. That is, a community or group of believers who live out their faith in practical demonstration of servant hood and love for one another, being Jesus to one another.

SA4JESUS was birthed out of this background and mandate from the Lord to help mend the nets and prevent precious men and women falling through the nets back into the sea and storms of life. SA4JESUS want to help and serve people in their towns and cities, be that church leaders, men, women, children or youth, who desire to begin such support groups and to start to reach out in love towards each other, across church boundaries, helping to stop the division and competition between churches, serving one another in love and unity under our Head and King, Jesus Christ.
